PENSACOLA BEACH GULF SURF REPORT
Thursday, August 21, 2008
: 7 am
REPORT:That little Fay swell from yesterday is gone. No surf today. FORECAST: Fay is sitting in the Atlantic...stalled 20 miles ESE of Daytona. Winds are still 60 mph. She is expected to crawl back onshore later today. After that, the consensus is that she will begin to head in our direction. It is still very possible that she could emerge into the NE Gulf of Mexico during the day on Friday and then track west across the northern Gulf about 60 to 90 miles offshore. It is possible for Fay to strengthen some if she gets into the Gulf.
